We begin with a discovery kickoff meeting to align on priorities, preferences, and the overall approach, and from there, we develop a series of design presentations that bring the concept to life through inspirational imagery, scaled space plans where applicable, and a thoughtfully-considered colour palette. Moodboards and conceptual imagery further define the atmosphere, while detailed selections of hard and soft finishes establish the material language of the project.Where applicable, millwork elevations and 3D elevations are developed to clearly communicate the design intent, dimensions, materials, and construction details for custom elements. We’ll present our selection of materials, fixtures, furnishings, and finishes, alongside preliminary pricing and purchase orders to provide an early understanding of the anticipated investment.Each design presentation is reviewed together during a dedicated presentation meeting, so that we can discuss the design, answer questions, and gather feedback. This phase includes one round of light revisions per presentation, allowing for thoughtful refinements based on your input while maintaining the overall design direction.

The second phase brings the approved design vision into greater detail, moving from concept to finalized selections, pricing, and documentation. We source and procure material samples for your review, refine and confirm pricing for all hard and soft finishes, and update the purchase orders accordingly. We prepare customized invoices to streamline the purchasing process, and initiate work orders for contractors and trades as needed.We coordinate detailed quotes from the necessary trades, reviewing and presenting each for your approval before any work begins. We’ll hold a dedicated design review meeting to provide an opportunity to walk through finalized material selections and pricing together, address any questions, and make any necessary adjustments.As the design moves toward execution, we develop detailed millwork and electrical drawings and elevations to clearly communicate the design intent and provide contractors and trades with the technical information needed for accurate implementation. Behind the scenes, we’ll prepare construction documents, including a comprehensive specifications book outlining all hard-finish details and an FFE schedule documenting furniture, fixtures, and equipment selections. Together, these documents create a cohesive roadmap for procurement, installation, and construction, ensuring the design is executed with clarity and precision.

The final phase brings the design to life through thoughtful coordination, oversight, and hands-on execution. Throughout the process, we oversee and support the trades involved in the project within the scope of our services, helping ensure that each element is carried out with the intended level of detail and craftsmanship.We attend site visits and meetings with the client and third-party contractors, providing guidance and addressing design-related questions as they arise. Acting as the primary liaison between you and the contractors, we help maintain continuity throughout the build, ensuring that the design intent remains clear at all times.As the project nears completion, we oversee the delivery, placement, and installation of interior furnishings and other specified items, coordinating the final details to ensure each element is properly executed and the completed spaces feel cohesive, considered, and true to the original vision.
