What began as a full kitchen renovation evolved into a complete main-floor transformation, encompassing the dining room, living room, and powder bath. Unifying the main level was key. We replaced a patchwork of existing floors with a classic mid-toned engineered hardwood that complements that homeowners’ furnishings.

In the dining room, the desire for a true “wow” moment led to the introduction of a 19th-century Chinese silk–inspired mural wallpaper, chosen for its hand-painted quality and storied presence. A contemporary linear pendant paired with a traditional ceiling medallion creates visual tension, and contributes to the feeling that home has evolved over time. Thoughtful updates to lighting, textiles, and finishes allowed existing furniture to feel intentional within the renewed design, resulting in a home that feels layered, personal, and full of soul and character.
