VINTAGE VOGUE PROJECT
CLIENT
#vintagevogueproject
What began as a full kitchen renovation organically evolved into a complete main-floor transformation, encompassing the dining room, living room, and powder bath. As the vision unfolded, our clients sought a home that felt rich in character—spaces that appeared to have evolved over time rather than being renovated all at once.
Unifying the main level was key. A mid-toned engineered hardwood with natural variation replaced a patchwork of existing floors, bringing cohesion and warmth while complementing the clients’ existing furnishings. In the dining room, the desire for a true “wow” moment led to the introduction of a 19th-century Chinese silk–inspired mural wallpaper, chosen for its hand-painted quality and storied presence.
A carefully curated balance of old and new defines the space. A contemporary linear pendant paired with a traditional ceiling medallion creates visual tension, while wall sconces and softly pleated linen valances add warmth, softness, and evening ambiance. Thoughtful updates to lighting, textiles, and finishes allowed existing furniture to feel intentional within the renewed design.
The result is a dining room—and main floor—that feels layered, personal, and soulful, with details meant to be discovered over time.
